We sell a range of groceries, mostly organic, and pride ourselves on competing with the major supermarkets and brands on price. Where we can, we offer British and local options. Currently everything in store is vegan, except for the sustainably and responsibly sourced honey, and sunscreen.
Cleaning products and toiletries are available as refills - these are from ethical companies Greenscents and Miniml and we operate a fully closed loop system with both suppliers, returning barrels to be refilled.
We sell a range of items in the following categories: Cereals, Pulses, Rice & Grains, Pasta, Baking Supplies, Nuts, Fruit & Seeds, Liquid foods, Cleaning Products, Snacks, Sweets & Chocolates, Herbs & Spices, Toiletries, Bottles & Jars, Containers. A full price list is available here
We also offer the following services:
Nut butter: we have a peanut butter mill in store - you can grind your own fresh peanut butter made from just organic roasted peanuts
Coffee - we have a grinder for the coffee beans that you can use free of charge
Milling: We have a mill available for gluten free flour, for example rice, pea, buckwheat, corn or lentil flour
Non food items are also available. We source all items as ethically as possible - if there's something we don't stock please ask.

We are Kate and Pete (and Hope), and are proud to be part of the Taunton & Somerset community.
We want to give the people of Taunton a positive option for shopping ethically, organically and packaging free.
We see Lesser Litter as part of the solution to the huge environmental issues we, as a community and as a planet, face.
We believe in reusing packaging, circular supply and supporting sustainable organic farming practices.
Shopping ethically should be accessible for everyone. We firmly believe this should be more economical, both for the individual and for the environment
